1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using GateKeeperZero's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Service
GateKeeperZero provides a comprehensive society management platform including web dashboard, resident mobile app, and guard mobile app. Our services include but are not limited to:
- Visitor management and tracking
- Resident and household management
- Accounting and billing
- Amenity booking
- Maintenance request tracking
- Communication tools
- Reports and analytics
3. User Accounts
To use our services, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Be responsible for all activities under your account
- Not share your account with others
4. Subscription and Payment
Our services are provided on a subscription basis starting at ₹9 per flat per month on the Standard plan, billed yearly. You agree that:
- Subscription fees are billed in advance for the billing period on your plan or quote (yearly for plans bought on the website)
- Prices exclude GST, which is added on your invoice. Payment gateway charges may apply at checkout.
- All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
- We may change pricing with 30 days advance notice
- Payment must be made through authorized payment methods
- Late payments may result in service suspension
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Violate any laws or regulations in your jurisdiction
- Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the service
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Use automated systems to access the service without permission
5.1 Zero tolerance for objectionable content
Parts of our apps let residents post content — community posts, comments, polls and events. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour, and accounts that post it are removed.
Specifically:
- Every member can report any post or comment from the app, choosing a reason such as harassment, spam or inappropriate content.
- Every member can block another member. A blocked member's posts and comments are removed from your feed immediately, and yours from theirs.
- Reported content and blocks are surfaced to your society's moderators, who review and act on them within 24 hours — hiding or removing the content, locking comments, or muting or banning the member responsible.
- Accounts that repeatedly post objectionable content, or that harass other residents, are suspended or terminated.
By using the community features you agree to these terms and to the moderation decisions taken under them.
6. Data and Privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to our collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of GateKeeperZero are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
8. User Content
You retain ownership of content you upload to our platform. However, by uploading content, you grant us a license to use, store, and display that content as necessary to provide our services. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content.
9. Service Availability
We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may:
- Perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice
- Make emergency updates or repairs
- Modify or discontinue features
- Suspend service for non-payment or violations
10. Termination
Either party may terminate the service agreement:
- You may cancel your subscription at any time
- We may terminate accounts that violate these terms
- We may suspend service for non-payment
- Upon termination, your access will be revoked
- Data may be deleted after account termination
11. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GateKeeperZero from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the service, violation of these terms, or infringement of any rights of others.
13. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
